ABOUT THE ROLE

Jumo Health is a Patient Experience Organization that applies behavioral science, health literacy, and human-centered design to transform complex clinical trials with high decision investments into patient-centered experiences that drive enrollment and retention. The Executive Director / Vice President, Information Technology is responsible for leading Jumo’s technology, systems, and AI strategy – ensuring that our digital infrastructure, data environment, and partnerships are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

This executive will oversee enterprise systems, data governance, and AI enablement while managing external technology partners and service providers. The role requires both strategic vision and operational execution, balancing reliability and compliance with innovation and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Systems & Architecture:

  • Lead the evolution of Jumo’s enterprise systems ecosystem (CRM, PSA, HRIS, QMS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and related platforms).
  • Design and maintain a scalable systems architecture that enables automation, data integrity, and interoperability across functions.
  • Drive process digitization and integration to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and insight generation.
  • Oversee all technology and data partnerships to ensure alignment, performance, and value creation.
  • Establish governance for system ownership, change management, and documentation.

Security, Compliance & Infrastructure:

  • Manage Jumo’s external managed service provider (MSP) to ensure reliable support and infrastructure performance.
  • Partner with the VP of Quality & Compliance to maintain adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, and client data security requirements.
  • Implement and oversee policies for access management, information security, and business continuity.
  • Serve as the internal technical lead for cybersecurity and data protection, balancing compliance with usability.

Data Strategy & Governance:

  • Implement and maintain data governance standards that ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
  • Partner with Finance, Delivery, and Commercial leaders to improve data visibility, reporting, and analytics.
  • Build the infrastructure and frameworks needed to leverage data-driven insights responsibly.

AI & Automation Enablement:

  • Define and operationalize Jumo’s automation strategy to enhance efficiency, personalization, and scale.
  • Lead responsible AI adoption with attention to ethics, compliance, and data protection.
  • Evaluate and manage technology partnerships to bring innovative solutions into the organization.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Build and lead a high-performing teams as needed.
  • Partner with functional leaders across the business to translate strategy into technology solutions.
  • Provide executive guidance on technology, data, and AI topics to inform company-wide decision- making.
  • Represent Jumo externally with customers and technology and data partners, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

Candidate Experience & Requirements

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in information systems, enterprise technology, or digital transformation leadership.
  • Experience leading engineering or software development teams, with a strong understanding of modern architecture, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing systems architecture, security, and data governance.
  • Experience managing technology and data partnerships as well as MSP relationships.
  • Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research environments, with an understanding of data privacy, compliance frameworks, and regulated systems.
  • Hands-on familiarity with SaaS ecosystems (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM, HRIS,
    workflow tools).
  • Proven ability to lead AI or automation initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, AI-enabled, compliance-driven environment.
