Our multicultural offerings are designed to explain the latest in evidence-based literature using highly visual elements so that everyone can understand complex medical topics. We use familiar mediums to ensure this -from comic books and Pixar®-style animation, to virtual reality experiences and authentic documentary-style patient stories – all tailored based on age and audience.
BACKGROUND
Jumo Health is a medical communications company serving the needs of the pharmaceutical industry as they develop and market their products. The DEI Program Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing Jumo Health’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in clinical trials. This individual will manage our health equity service line, provide assistance and subject matter expertise for sales opportunities, and lead other internal & external initiatives to create the Jumo Health DEI center for
excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about health equity, has experience in patient recruitment, and has a proven track record of managing DEI programs and initiatives for pharma.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage Health Equity Service Line: Work with other Strategy and Commercialization group
leaders to design and implement DEI strategies that help us recruit and retain diverse candidates in
clinical trials. - Oversight of DEI Projects: Serve as oversight for DEI projects, working cross-functionally with
Customer Success, Delivery Management, Editorial, and Design to ensure projects are meeting our
and our customer’s objectives. - Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with external partners and community
organizations to build relationships and foster collaboration on DEI initiatives. - Lead the CARES Council: Coordinate and lead the CARES Council, planning and the facilitating of
regular meetings, setting agendas, and implementing various initiatives. - Program Development: Design, implement, and monitor programs that support DEI in our product
offerings. - Training and Education: Develop and deliver DEI training and educational materials for internal
teams to promote awareness and understanding of health equity products & services. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Sales &
Marketing to ensure our products and services are meeting patient and customer needs,
understood internally, and delivered seamlessly. - Evaluation and Reporting: Regularly assess the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and programs, using
data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Prepare and present reports to senior
leadership on progress and outcomes.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in public health, communications, marketing, public
relations, education, or other related field; MPH preferred but not required; PMP certification
a plus - 3-5 years of experience managing DEI programs with a focus on health equity.
- Ability to work with tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of DEI best practices and principles.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to speak with a variety of
stakeholders including clinical trial managers, patients/families, health care organizations, and
advocacy groups. - Passionate about health equity and committed to making a positive impact in diverse
communities. - Self-starter who is able to roll up their sleeves, take initiative, think creatively, work
independently, and get work done! - Exhibits a sense of curiosity and growth orientation; continuously seeks out knowledge as well
as growth opportunities
