UI/UX Designer
SITE SOLUTION AND PATIENT EXPERIENCE, MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
ABOUT THE ROLE
Jumo Health is a patient experience organization that utilizes behavioral insights, health literacy and creativity to give people the clarity and confidence to make informed health choices. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team focused on patient and site experience innovation in clinical research. You will design intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital interfaces that help patients, caregivers, sites, and sponsors navigate complex clinical-trial journeys. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, developers, and strategists to transform requirements and research insights into thoughtful, high-fidelity user experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User Experience Design:
- Lead discovery and design workshops to translate business and user needs into intuitive design solutions.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, journey maps, personas, and prototypes that reflect patient, caregiver, and site interactions.
- Ensure all designs reflect accessibility best practices and usability for diverse audiences.
User Interface Design:
- Create high-fidelity mockups and component libraries aligned with brand guidelines.
- Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile.
- Work with developers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementation.
Research & Testing:
- Conduct or support usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and A/B testing.
- Analyze user behavior, heatmaps, and feedback to continuously optimize user experience.
- Document insights and recommendations for iterative improvements.
Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, Intelligence, and Enablement teams to define the end-to-end experience architecture.
- Contribute to design system governance, pattern libraries, and accessibility frameworks.
- Collaborate with content strategists to ensure educational and adaptive content aligns with UX
intent.
Candidate Experience & Requirements
Required
- 3–5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally in digital health, life sciences, or SaaS.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, UX principles, and interaction design.
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and high-impact deliverables.
- Excellent communication, visual storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams.
Preferred
- Patient recruitment experience and knowledge of funnel metrics.
