About This Role

Jumo Health is a patient experience optimization company that utilizes behavioral insights, health literacy and creativity to give people the clarity and confidence to make informed health choices.  As Program Manager, Events, you will be the driving force behind live and virtual activations that bring our mission to life, whether that’s in a local community center or on a national conference stage. You’ll lead the planning and execution of meaningful, strategic events that foster trust, deepen engagement, and elevate awareness of clinical research opportunities, especially among historically underserved populations.

This isn’t your average events job. We’re looking for a purpose-driven professional with a proven track record in event production and stakeholder coordination, who can juggle complex logistics while keeping community impact at the center of every decision. You’ll manage external partners (like health equity organizations and conference vendors), align cross-functional teams, and serve as the face of Jumo Health at key engagements.

Key Responsibilites

Event Execution
  • Lead all logistics, coordination, and execution of:
    • Community-based health equity activations
    • Industry conferences (e.g., SCOPE, DIA, Patients as Partners)
    • Internal company-wide meetings or summits (support function)
    • Patient Advocacy events
  • Serve as day-of point-of-contact for event deliverables, staffing, materials, and onsite/virtual execution
  • Ensure events are executed seamlessly
Partner & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as point of contact for scope-related external partnerships across advocacy groups, community organizations, logistics providers, and health equity collaborators (e.g., Acclinate, HCN)
  • Define scopes of work, set expectations, track progress, and troubleshoot in real-time
  • Lead and facilitate weekly/bi-weekly partner status calls, quarterly governance calls, and handles any project escalations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Strategy, Delivery, and Contracts teams on partner evaluation and selection, provide feedback on partnership status, performance, escalate issues, etc. to the relationship owner (Strategy)
Program Oversight & Strategic Alignment
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure aligned execution of partner-led event activities
  • Apply Jumo Health’s health equity best practices to ensure consistency, impact, and quality and facilitate cultural competency reviews with selected partners per project scopes.
  • Support program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts
Marketing, Visibility & Storytelling
  • Capture testimonials, photos, and collateral from events for use in:
    • Social media and thought leadership
    • Sales proposals and case studies
    • Industry conference submissions
  • Contribute to establishing Jumo Health’s community engagement work as a visible differentiator in the market
Impact Reporting & Learning
  • Collect post-event feedback from partners, attendees, and community leaders
  • Support reporting of qualitative and quantitative metrics to internal teams and sponsors
  • Help identify opportunities for innovation, simplification, or scaling

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience: 5-10 years of event production, live activations, or large-scale project execution; community engagement or patient advocacy work a strong plus
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel – onsite for the events to ensure smooth execution and 100% client satisfaction
  • Skills:

    • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
    • Deep understanding of health equity principles and cultural relevance in healthcare communications
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, researchers, and sponsors
    • Proactive, self-starter mentality with creative problem-solving chops
    • Growth-oriented, curious, and resilient in fast-paced environments
