We built the category. Now we are building the team.

Every decision we make affects a patient navigating a real health condition or clinical trial. We bring together behavioral science, health literacy, technology, design, and clinical experience to make participation more understandable and sustainable. If you want your work to change what patients can do—not just what they see—Jumo is built for you.

Work on the part of clinical trials that everyone feels and no one has owned.

Patients experience clinical trials as decisions, disruptions, uncertainties, and commitments. The industry often experiences those same realities only after they become screen failures, missed visits, site burden, or dropout.

Jumo Health makes patient readiness an operating discipline. That means the work is interdisciplinary by design. Science informs experience. Experience generates signals. Signals guide execution. Every role contributes to whether participation can hold.

Why the work is different here.

The impact is human. The standard is operational. The problem is still being defined while we solve it.

01

Build a Category

Patient readiness is becoming infrastructure. You will help define how the category works, how it is measured, and what it changes.

02

Make Impact Visible

The work connects to patient understanding, progression, site burden, retention, and completion—not abstract engagement metrics.

03

Cross Disciplines

Behavioral science, clinical operations, product, data, education, design, and technology solve the same problem together.

04

Design for Reality

We build for actual protocols, actual site constraints, actual caregiver dynamics, and actual patients with lives outside the trial.

The principles that shape the work.

Culture is most useful when it changes decisions. These principles define how Jumo teams approach the problem.

01

Design for the patient who may stop.

Assume fatigue, fear, logistics, competing priorities, and life outside the protocol. Build for reality rather than the best case.

02

Measure completion, not activity.

Clicks and enrollment counts are signals. The result is sustained, informed participation through the required endpoint.

03

Reduce burden.

Every solution should make participation clearer and execution easier for patients, caregivers, sites, and study teams.

04

Name the real problem.

Direct language creates better decisions. We distinguish eligibility from readiness and engagement from durable participation.

The people who thrive here.

There is no single background. There is a shared instinct to make complex systems work better for the people inside them.

You picture the patient.

The appointment, the travel, the fear, the caregiver, the questions nobody answered, and the decision that must hold after consent.

You cut through filler.

You ask what the work must accomplish and choose clarity over language that sounds impressive but changes nothing.

You connect systems.

You see how protocol design, education, behavior, technology, sites, and operations influence the same participation outcome.

You build for use.

You respect constraints, test assumptions, and prefer something that works in the real trial over something perfect in theory.

Different perspectives make patient experience more precise.

Jumo Health brings together people from different countries, disciplines, and lived experiences. That range matters because patients do not arrive with one background, one health-literacy level, one decision role, or one definition of support.

Our work depends on curiosity, collaboration, and the willingness to see a trial from more than one point of view.

CommercialAccount Manager Remote5+ years

About the role

Jumo Health is a Patient Experience Organization redefining how patients engage with clinical research.

The Account Manager is the senior relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of biopharma, biotech, and CRO clients. This role operates above and before the project level, responsible for pre-award scoping and portfolio planning, account governance, and the overall health and growth of the client relationship. The Account Manager shapes the structure of the work before it reaches delivery, hands off to Project Managers at the point of award, and remains the account-level client partner and portfolio steward throughout the engagement lifecycle. This role is for someone who thinks in programs and partnerships, not just projects.

Key responsibilities

Pre-Sales Partnership and Pre-Award Planning

  • Partner with Sales and client stakeholders during the pre-award phase to scope and structure the portfolio of work, defining the materials, timelines, budgets, and sequencing approach that will underpin the engagement.
  • Drive revenue growth within the existing client base by identifying and qualifying expanded scope, new workstreams, and renewals that deepen the partnership.
  • Lead a structured handoff to Project Managers at the point of award so delivery teams have the scope, client context, expectations, and account-level commitments required to execute.

Account Governance and Relationship Management

  • Own the senior client relationship for an assigned portfolio, serving as the primary escalation point and strategic partner throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain account governance rhythms, including account reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive touchpoints.
  • Monitor account health across active and planned work, identifying risks and opportunities that span individual projects.

Client-Facing Portfolio Oversight

  • Serve as the client's primary window into the full body of work, maintaining a consolidated, real-time view across timelines, capacity, and delivery status.
  • Lead portfolio-level planning conversations that help clients sequence and prioritize work as their trial portfolio evolves.
  • Develop account-level reporting that aggregates performance metrics, utilization, and strategic progress across projects.

Internal Coordination, Growth, and Retention

  • Serve as the voice of the client internally, providing Project Managers and delivery teams with account context, client expectations, and strategic framing.
  • Escalate systemic issues with a proposed path to resolution and maintain continuity between pre-award commitments and post-award execution.
  • Identify scope expansion, new workstreams, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Business Development on warm handoffs for new accounts and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate account data, pipeline, and renewal forecasts in HubSpot.

Experience and requirements

  • 5+ years in account management, program or project management, customer success, solutions delivery, or operations. Life sciences experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-project client portfolios and maintaining a consolidated view across concurrent engagements.
  • Experience partnering with Sales in pre-sales discovery, solution design, or scoping.
  • Proven ability to translate pre-sale commitments into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to own post-sale client relationships, including governance rhythms, quarterly business reviews, and executive account reviews.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including comfort leading discussions with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to influence delivery, strategy, and finance teams without direct authority.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting clinical trial recruitment, patient engagement, or retention programs.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations or patient-facing content development.
  • Familiarity with CRM and delivery tools, including HubSpot.
  • Experience with statements of work, change control, capacity planning, and KPI or dashboard development.
Core skills

Stakeholder management, pre-sales solutioning, operational rigor, customer empathy, escalation leadership, data storytelling, and continuous improvement.
